Exercise and the Mind

It is a funny thing…our minds that is.  Within it we have the ability to be set free or to cage, restrict, tie down our very being.  Every day we have the choice to select a world view which can empower us, motivate us to positive action or tell us we can’t, aren’t good enough, shouldn’t…etc.  It is easy to let that second voice creep in.  I  know it because I have all too often let it creep into my head and keep me hostage.  But today, I say no more…….this is the moment…….of course I say this as I am dripping in sweat riding a stationary bike….the endorphins are pumping and I aim to keep them that way.  I hope to see you back here soon!  Onward and upward!

Success……….what does that mean to you?

I have been thinking about achieving goals recently!  We all have so much opportunity…….so much potential and yet so often we fail to mine it completely.  There is so much more we can do.  I am sure you all know someone you look at and go, “Wow, how did they…I mean how do they.”  I know I have quite a few people in my life that make me feel that way.  The question is why are we not fulfilling our potential.  Or if we are, how did we achieve this level of action?

Here is my thought for all of us today!  ‘Success starts and ends as a thought”   How will you craft your thoughts today?

Dr Esser featured in Mayo Clinic Resident Education Videos

I was recently featured in several Mayo Clinic Musculoskeletal exam videos to help educate doctors in training so they are more competent in their examination of the limbs and spine!  Any time I can help positively influence the education and thus the future patient care of our docs it is a real pleasure.  Hopefully they will go on to use the info we shared for good in the decades ahead.
